About your fishing day
Each fishing day we will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00am. Our charter boat operator will be ready to leave Chalong pier at 08:30 a.m. You'll enjoy the best “catching spot” for the best big game fishing our captain can find, plus delicious lunches prepared and served by our crew. Day and night fishing areas will be within 1-2 hours from Au Chalong, depending on what area is fishing the best at the time. Fishing ends at 06:00 p.m. At the end of the day our chauffeur will bring you back to your hotel.

Before reaching Racha Noi we will arrive at the Tan Kram coral reef which during the right lunar phase can host spectacular popper fishing for action Giant Trevally. The Racha area consists of two main islands, Ko Racha Yai and Ko Racha Noi (14 miles and 23 miles from Ao Chalong respectively) separated by a narrow pass.
The north east corner of Racha Yai offers the best Sailfish or game fishing action around Phuket. Often Sailfish here can be seen jumping and tailing on the surface. Also they can be seen feeding on balls of baitfish. This can be a really incredible show! Usually the best sport fishing happens in the afternoon so in the morning you can target King Mackerel, Wahoo or Dorado.
The area is also quite scenic above the water, with several beautiful white-sandy beaches bordered by groves of coconut trees.
